Anita did a beautiful job with my eyebrows! I’m always iffy about having someone new do my eyebrows but I saw Anita’s own eyebrows and figured let’s try it out. I love the way my eyebrows came out!
DO NOT COME HERE. THE LADY COMPLETE RIPPED THE ENTIRE BEGINNING OF MY BROWS. When I asked her about it, she did not offer a solution and kept staring at my brows. I have a whole spot missing hair because of her negligence. No apologies or offered a solution. All she did was stare and asked me to pay. Worst experience of my life. I’ve been going there for over 10 years and she did not take that into consideration.
I love cultures and learning about people and why they do things. After getting into a mandala research spiral, I decided to get a henna tattoo. My reasons: happiness, luck and protection. I wanted a sahasara and an eye. The process is calming for both the artist and the canvas. These days, we all need a little extra love and mental health care. I started my search around my neighborhood and after being denied twice, I continued my search in my old neighborhood, now referred to as Hamilton Heights. I walked into Blooming Threading Salon and was greeted by this very nice Indian lady. I wish I would have gotten her name to give her a little extra love here. She showed me some of her work. Some were extremely intricate. The price varied depending on what you wanted. I chose mine. It was relaxing and therapeutic. We had a nice conversation while she kept her focus on the piece of art she was creating on my skin. At the end, she made sure to dry it best she could with a fan. I loved how it came out and the best part is that it will last some time. I will definitely come back for more services. They do eyebrows, wax (with different kinds of waxes, depending on your needs). Treat yourself. A little self care goes a long way in making you feel like yourself again.
First time getting a henna at this location. I absolutely love it. Naz was so friendly and sweet. I would definitely recommend this place for henna and eyebrows! Will be back.Brazilian wax was great too.
